Huskers get commit from JUCO LB William Johnson

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have added another pledge to the 2016 recruiting class.

Nebraska got a commitment from three star JUCO LB William Johnson. This commit marks the first pledge that Mike Riley himself has gotten as Nebraska head coach. Via Scout, check out why he committed to the Huskers without visiting campus:

“Yes sir, I just committed to Nebraska, said Johnson, confirming Twitter reports. Nebraska has a good coaching staff and a good football environment. Their football team is always good."

Johnson is a 6'3" 225 pound player who will be interesting in defensive coordinator Mark Banker's attacking scheme. The Huskers have now added five linebackers since arriving in Lincoln. Depth at that position will be very important moving forward.
