How much will we learn from OU against Akron?

Oklahoma opens its season Saturday evening against Akron.

A week from Saturday, on Sept. 12, the Sooners play at Tennesee, which means we may not know how much OU will show against the Zips in Norman, Okla.

New offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley is likely eager to display the Air Raid offense, but how much of it he wants to disclose is still a major question.

We'll also find out something, who knows how much once again, about running back Joe Mixon and a somewhat inexperienced group of receivers. 

More questions about the offense? There's new quarterback Baker Mayfield and Big 12 leading rusher Samaje Perine.
