Andrew Zitnik returned an interception 97 yards to cap a Holy Cross scoring surge in the Crusaders' 30-22 win over Harvard on Saturday.

Holy Cross (2-1) trailed 14-3 with 14:27 left in the second quarter before outscoring the Crimson 27-0.

Ryan Taggart threw a 68-yard TD to Josh Hauser, before running for a 1-yard score to put the Crusaders ahead for good, 17-14, with 9:43 left in the first half. John Macomber added two field goals and Andrew Zitnik returned his interception three yards short of the school record to round out the Crusaders' scoring.

Taggart had 320 yards on 22 of 35 passing, and Mike Fess had 102 yards on five catches as three different Crusaders' receivers had five catches, and four had more than 40 yards receiving.

Collier winters had for 265 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions on 25 of 41 passing in the Crimson's season opener.
