The Ohio State Buckeyes won the 2014-15 National Championship and first ever College Football Playoff, but oddsmakers seem to have forgotten what happened in Columbus last September.

Virginia Tech visited Ohio State on Sept. 6, 2014, and beat the Buckeyes, 35-21. However, according to ESPN's David M. Hale, 5Dimes sports book has the Hokies as 20.5-point underdogs in their Week 1 rematch with the champs—in Blacksburg.

Hale provides some convincing reasons why the Hokies will at least cover the spread, citing the facts that Virginia Tech has lost just one game at home by 20 points or more in the last decade and has been a double-digit underdog at home just three times in the last quarter-century.
