Highly sought-after DT signs with South Carolina over FSU and UT

Known as a great recruiter, Will Muschamp is continuing that sentiment on Wednesday.

The South Carolina head coach was able to convince talented 2016 defensive tackle Stephon Taylor to sign with the Gamecocks on National Signing Day. The New Orleans native chose USC over the likes of Texas and Florida State.
At 6'5", 300 pounds, Taylor has terrific size. He instantly enhances the bulk up front from within the interior of USC's defensive line.
It was a fantastic get for South Carolina. Muschamp and his staff were able to beat out many prominent programs for Taylor's services. Within this class, the Gamecocks are continuing to build the depth and talent up within the program -- especially on both the offensive and defensive lines.
