Two western Pennsylvania high school football players were killed in a crash a night before a scheduled playoff game, a local school official confirmed.

Sharon City School District Superintendent Mike Calla told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on Saturday that Corey Swartz and Evan Gill died Friday night.

Calla says two other players, twins Greg and Craig Osmon, were injured and are being treated at a hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.

Authorities say the crash killed a third person and injured two other children.
