Remember the first time Jim Harbaugh spent the night at a recruit's house to impress him?

That kid is going to be a Wolverine.

Quinn Nordin signed a letter of intent Wednesday to play for Michigan.

That gives Harbaugh the nation's No. 1 kicker and 27 players in his 2016 class.

Nordin initially committed to Penn State before reopening his recruitment in January.

He also considered USC before selecting the Wolverines.

Nordin is the third player from the state of Michigan to sign with the Wolverines, joining defensive back Lavert Hill of Detroit King and offensive lineman Michael Onwenu of Detroit Cass Tech.
