'Hall of Fame' Arkansas fan has special moment with his Hogs
There aren't many college sports fans as dedicated as Canaan Sandy.
He's a diehard Arkansas Razorbacks fan who drives hours for football, basketball and baseball games and shows up anywhere he can to support the Hogs.
"He's been at a bunch of Razorback events with me," head coach Bret Bielema told reporters on Saturday at Arkansas' spring game. "He's on a world tour I think. Every time I turn around, he's there. He's just got one of those contagious personalities."
Given his commitment to the Hogs (he was recognized by ESPN as a "Hall of Fame" fan last December), it was awesome to see the program give Canaan a special moment on Saturday.
Lining up in the backfield with quarterback Brandon Allen, Canaan took the handoff and rumbled 50 yards for a touchdown.
The best part?
After Canaan did a TD dance and was mobbed by the team, he flexed his biceps for the camera and blew kisses to the crowd.
