Georgia's list of early enrollees is second to none
While Georgia head coach Kirby Smart may not have arrived just yet, the first pieces to his inaugural Bulldog recruiting class have, as several elite recruits started class Monday as early enrollees. Judging from their recruiting rankings, no other school in the nation can match the additions Georgia just received.
The list of new Bulldogs reads like an all-star ballot: Five-star quarterback Jacob Eason, five-star offensive lineman Ben Cleveland, five-star tight end Isaac Nauta, four-star defensive lineman Julian Rochester, four-star Riley Ridley and three-star cornerback Chad Cley all enrolled in class Monday.
With several uncommitted targets still left on their recruiting board, including five-star prospects Rashan Gary, Derrick Brown, Ben Davis, Mecole Hardman and Demetris Robertson, Georgia is well on its way to securing one of the top recruiting classes in the nation. If UGA can land even two more elite prospects, they will likely earn the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation in 2016.
Not a bad way for Smart to start his career at Georgia.
