Freshman LB Austin Smith replacing Curt Maggitt in starting lineup?

You may see a surprising name in the starting lineup this weekend as defensive coordinator John Jancek revealed the team will be giving true freshman Austin Smith the first crack at replacing injured senior Curt Maggitt at linebacker:

If Smith does indeed get the start, it will mark his first collegiate start for the Volunteers. While only rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports coming out of Buford, GA, Smith helped lead Buford to the Georgia State Class AAAA Championship with a 15-0 record in 2014.
