Four-star DB prospect Singleton leaning toward UGA?
The Georgia Bulldogs appear to be closing in on one of their state's top prospects, as Lawrenceville, Ga., native Dylan Singleton is nearing his decision date. Singleton recently spoke to the Atlanta Journal Constitution regarding his feeling toward playing football in Athens.
“That’s where I feel like I want to play college football at right now,” Singleton said. “I feel like I can fit into their system nicely.”
Rated as a four-star defensive back by 247Sports, the 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back was in attendance for the team's Dawg Night camp recently and enjoyed his time with the coaching staff at Georgia.
“They didn’t really pressure me to commit or anything,” he said. “I was just really hanging out with them. We weren’t really talking about recruiting at all.”
Even though his brother Deondre plays at Duke, Georgia is expected to win his pledge over the Blue Devils and Ohio State. Expect Singleton to make his decision before the beginning of his senior season of high school football.
