During the late '80s and into 1990, Randal Hill was one of the best players on the Miami Hurricanes football team. He, by far, was one of the fastest and without a doubt one of the loudest … making sure to let you know what he had just done.

Now, Hill is making another run. Only this time, it’s a run for Washington D.C. and a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Hill will run in the Democratic Party primary against current Rep. Frederica Wilson, who is in her third term in a seat that spreads from downtown Miami and into Broward County.

Hill has officially resigned from his job with the Department of Homeland Security to run for office. He has been critical of Wilson’s job performance, as he told the Miami Herald:

“If you can tell me what she has done as a Congresswoman then I won’t run. “One of the first things she did do was she tried to pass a bill for Congressmen or women to wear hats in the House of Representatives. I don’t know how that is helping the community as a sitting politician.”

Of course, my question is what is views are on gun control. Not for political reasons, but just because this is the video most people will remember Hill by from the 1991 Cotton Bowl.
