Florida garners commitment from Antonio Morrison clone
Could Florida have found the next Antonio Morrison?
Linebacker David Reese committed to the Gators over the weekend. He opted for Jim McElwain's program over the likes of Wisconsin, TCU, Nebraska, and Texas.
There are some parallels between the Scout.com 4-star linebacker and Florida's stud linebacker. For one, both hail from the midwest. Morrison is from Illinois, and Reese is a product of Farmington High School in Michigan.
Both are virtually the same size, and play the same position. In terms of playing style, Reese (like Morrison) is an instinctive, physical player with a penchant for filling gaps near the line of scrimmage -- and exploding forward to make tackles.
With Florida losing multiple linebackers next season, Reese could be in line for play time right away.
