Ezekiel Elliott on last week's remarks: 'I regret everything I said'
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Ohio State football has had better weeks, and Ezekiel Elliott seemed to know at least some of the blame fell on his shoulders.
The Buckeyes' star running back vocalized his frustrations with the game plan last week when Ohio State lost to Michigan State, and many wondered whether his comments were an indication something was wrong in the Buckeyes' locker room.
When it was over, Elliott discussed what the fallout from his comments was like and how he dealt with it, opening his postgame news conference with these comments:
Asked whether it had been a tough week, Elliott responded that the toughest part was "people questioning my love for the university, people questioning my love for my brothers on this team and people just questioning if I was even going to come out here today and play hard. That’s not the person that I am."
