Enjoying the home cooking: Local prospect commits to LSU on Monday

2016 prospect Travez Moore committed to LSU on Monday morning, giving head coach Les Miles yet another local player to work with.

A native of Bastrop, the Rivals.com 3-star prospect chose the hometown Tigers over the likes of TCU, South Carolina, Arizona State, Tennessee, and Florida, among others.

A hybrid outside linebacker/defensive end, his quickness off the edge is clearly apparent when watching his highlight tape. Although he may not be ready to play right away (weighing in at 230 pounds), a redshirt year could aid in his development tremendously.

Moore is the 19th public commitment for the Tigers, and the 11th hailing from the state of Louisiana.
