H.B. Banjoman rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown to lead Eastern Kentucky to a 17-3 victory over Austin Peay on Saturday.
The Colonels (6-5, 5-2 Ohio Valley Conference) finished the season on a four-game winning streak and went 5-0 at home.
Jeremy Caldwell's 69-yard punt return gave Eastern Kentucky a 10-3 lead midway through the third quarter. Caldwell, who also intercepted a pass, returned a punt, a kickoff and an interception for touchdowns this season.
Banjoman's 1-yard scoring plunge extended the Colonels' lead to 17-3 early in the fourth quarter.
Eastern Kentucky finished with 200 yards rushing and held Austin Peay (2-9, 1-6), which finished on an eight-game losing streak, to 141 total yards.
The Governors recovered a blocked punt with 8:58 left in the game, but the Colonels stopped them on fourth-and-1 with 7 minutes left.
