In a wild game of swings, safeties, special teams' gaffes and a failed trick play, Duquesne came away with a 21-20 win over Robert Morris in Northeastern Conference play Saturday night.

Robert Morris (2-4, 0-1) took a 7-0 lead into halftime after Paul Jones, whose interception earlier in the drive was fumbled back to the Colonials, scored on a 4-yard run.

Duquesne scored when Charles Lipp's blocked punt resulted in the team's first of two safeties in the third quarter. Dillon Buechel threw two touchdown passes and Austin Crimmins added a field goal as Duquesne (4-2, 2-0) took a 21-7 lead into the fourth quarter.

Following a Deontae Howard score, Jones ran in his second touchdown with 4:43 remaining but Hunter Khaleghi missed the extra point wide left.
