Sean Patterson threw four touchdown passes and rushed for 123 yards in Duquesne's 45-10 win against Robert Morris on Saturday.
With Robert Morris (2-9, 2-6 Northeast Conference) ahead 7-0 behind a Tyler Forbes' 35-yard touchdown pass, Patterson capped off an 8-play, 59-yard drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Spragg. Patterson then connected with Connor Dixon for touchdowns from 12 yards, 45 yards and 43 yards out over the next three quarters to give Duquesne (9-2, 7-1) a 45-10 lead with only 3:35 left to play.
Dixon finished with 117 yards and three touchdowns on five catches while Patterson connected on 17-of-27 attempts for 240 yards. Dixon's three touchdown's tie Duquesne's school record (16) for touchdown receptions in a season.
Duquesne's defense stuffed Robert Morris all day, only allowing the Colonials to gain 11 first downs compared to 27 for the Dukes.
