Sean Patterson threw three touchdown passes to Connor Dixon as Duquesne rallied to beat Bryant 31-28 on Saturday.
Patterson's 10-yard pass to Dixon with 9:22 remaining provided the game winner. Dixon also had touchdown catches of 33 and 15 yards. Patterson completed 13 of 25 passes for 160 yards and two interceptions for Duquesne (4-1, 2-0 Northeast Conference), which has won nine of its past 10 games dating back to last season.
Larry McCoy, who entered the game sixth in the Football Championship Subdivision with a 135-yard a game rushing average, ran for 153 yards and a score for Duquesne.
Bryant (3-2, 2-1) grabbed a 28-24 lead on a 70-yard touchdown pass from Mike Croce to Jordan Harris with 12:44 to play. Jordan Brown, whose 1-yard run in the third quarter gave Bryant a 21-17 lead, ran for 142 yards and two scores.
