Duke assistant gives neck vein-popping 'speech' before UNC game

Duke and North Carolina have been battling for the Victory Bell since 1948.

Duke held the trophy after last year's win, and graduate assistant Chris Hoover, a former walk-on reserve linebacker, really didn't want to hand it over.

Here he is before the Blue Devils took the field Thursday, giving his team a big helping of motivational screaming and chair-throwing:

Alas, the message didn't inspire as UNC ended up winning 45-20.
