DT Josh Augusta demonstrates immense athleticism on basketball court

Sitting at 7-7 currently, head coach Kim Anderson and the Missouri Tigers basketball team are in need of a boost on the court.

Anderson may not need to look any further than on campus -- where a 6'4", 335-pound dynamic athlete is dunking in Mizzou's practice facility.

Starting defensive tackle Josh Augusta was shown dunking a basketball with relative ease earlier last month in Columbia. The video was courtesy of defensive end Josh Moore -- also displaying some hops on the basketball court.

Augusta and Moore are part of what could be the top defensive line in the SEC next season. Stud Harold Brantley is slated to return from injury. The Tigers will also boast all-conference defensive ends Charles Harris and Walter Brady -- not to mention soon-to-be sophomore Terry Beckner Jr. and Rickey Hatley.

Augusta could be the lynchpin inside for the Tigers. Not only is he the biggest and most massive option at defensive tackle, but Augusta's got the potential to one day play on Sunday's in the NFL. Assuming his conditioning and consistency improves, Mizzou will be even more dynamic along its defensive front.
