Devontae Booker on status vs. UCLA: 'If it's my call I'm going'

Utah RB Devontae Booker's status for Saturday's game against UCLA is a "question mark", according to Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham.

Booker suffered an unspecified knee injury in Utah's double overtime loss to Arizona last Saturday. When asked by reporters this week about his status, Booker said that if it were up to him he would be on the field against the Bruins.

“I’m not banged up at all, really — just something that I’ve got to get treated and get better before the game,” Booker said, per NBC Sports. “If it's my call I'm going. If it isn’t I’ve just got to respect it and go with it from there.”

Booker is currently 11th in the country and third in the Pac-12 with 1,261 yards rushing. If Booker is unable to go, Joe Williams will start in his place.
