Dartmouth cruises against Georgetown, 31-10

WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) Dalyn Williams completed 18 of his 29 passes for 155 yards with a touchdown and linebacker Folarin Orimolade finished with three sacks defensively to help Dartmouth beat Georgetown 31-10 in its season opener on Saturday.

Williams and Brian Grove each had rushing touchdowns and Dylan Mellor hauled in a 27-yard TD reception for Dartmouth. Will McNamara added a 27-yard interception return for a touchdown for the Big Green defense, which held Georgetown to just 23 yards rushing.

The Hoyas scored first on a 31-yard TD pass from Kyle Nolan to Matt Buckman. However Dartmouth seized control from there, scoring three straight times propelling them to a 21-10 halftime lead. The Big Green shut out the Hoyas (1-2) 10-0 in the second half.

Nolan finished with 308 yards passing for Georgetown.

The game was the first meeting between the two schools since 1916, a 10-0 Georgetown win.
