FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Colorado State says quarterback Garrett Grayson has undergone surgery after injuring his left clavicle while moving a couch but is expected to recover in time for summer strength and conditioning workouts.

Colorado State coach Jim McElwain says the injury occurred Friday to Grayson's left shoulder. Grayson is a right-handed passer.

Grayson set a single-season passing record at CSU last year with 3,696 yards and tied the school record with 23 touchdown passes.
