College football week 13 is upon us. We take a look at the top three bets to make as we near the end of our college football season.

FSU football took Syracuse out behind the woodshed last week to improve to 8-3 on the season. It’s also the second consecutive week they have covered a huge betting spread. What a week we had as we finally had a 3-0 clean sweep against the bookies!

Recap

-We took Miami -3 against NC State. We figured both teams had comparable defenses, but Miami had the better offense. That’s pretty much how the game went as Miami was able to shut NC State down and pull away as the game went on to win 27-13. Win

-We took the UNDER 69 in the Louisville/Houston game. We knew both defenses were only giving up 20 and 21 points respectively and Houston was getting healthier overall. Houston dominated Louisville from the onset and sacked Lamar Jackson all night. Win

-We took Va Tech PICK’EM against Notre Dame. Man, what a rough first half for VT who was down 17-0 early. However, their defense shut down Notre Dame in the second half and they stormed back to win 34-31. Admittedly, probably should have lost this one but VT is the better team and still won the game with two turnovers. Win

We’re 21-24-3 on the season.  Let’s get into our top three bets and get some positive momentum going for us.

Oct 10, 2015; Dallas, TX, USA; Texas Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong celebrates winning the game against the Oklahoma Sooners during the Red River rivalry at Cotton Bowl Stadium. Texas won 24-17. Mandatory Credit: Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Texas -3 vs TCU

Time: 3:30 p.m.

How to watch: FOX Sports 1

Where: Royal Texas Memorial Stadium, Austin, TX

Texas players love Charlie Strong so much they were willing to protest him getting fired earlier this week. It’s a home game and they are going to do their best to send Strong out a winner. I think Texas gets it done.

Nov 15, 2014; Miami Gardens, FL, USA; Florida State Seminoles running back Dalvin Cook (4) scores a touchdown past Miami Hurricanes safety Jamal Carter (6) during the second half at Sun Life Stadium. FSU won 30-26. Mandatory Credit: Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

FSU -6.5 vs. Florida

Time: 8:00 p.m.

How to watch: ABC

Where: Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallhassee, FL

No. 5 offense (FSU) against the No. 5 defense (UF), and the No. 88 offense (UF) against the No. 31 defense (FSU). FSU has been playing much better as of late, and UF upsetting LSU last week should remind them that anything can happen. It’s probably close for the first half with FSU pulling away late to cover.

Sep 24, 2016; Chapel Hill, NC, USA; North Carolina Tar Heels linebacker Cayson Collins (23) runs onto the field after defeating the Pittsburgh Panthers at Kenan Memorial Stadium. Carolina defeated Pitt 37-36. Mandatory Credit: Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

UNC vs. NC State OVER 57

Time: 12:00 p.m. (FRIDAY)

How to watch: ESPN

Where: Kenan Memorial Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC

NC State has a good defense, in particularly their defensive line. The only problem is that’s going to be negated because UNC gets rid of the ball so quickly. UNC receivers should be able to get yards in chunks against this NC State secondary. NC State should be able to do enough on offense to get this one over the mark.

Good luck with your college football bets, and remember to bet responsibly.
