After a hiatus from the fantasy world last week, I am back after it this week hoping to have a big Saturday.
QB
My first fantasy pick at quarterback this week is Navy Midshipman Will Worth($6,900). Worth and the Midshipmen are facing a struggling Notre Dame team that nearly squandered a big lead last week against Miami. The Irish are also giving up an average of just over 160 rushing yards per game, and as a quarterback Worth leads the Midshipmen in rushing as well as passing. The option attack is always tough to prepare for and I am anticipating a big game from Worth.

The second quarterback I like this week is the Buckeye’s JT Barrett($6,900). Barrett and the Buckeyes are facing a Nebraska defense that only gives up about 200 yards per game through the air. However, they rely on the interception to stop a lot of drives and JT is not that careless with the ball.
And with the Buckeyes on the cusp of still being in the playoffs despite a loss to Penn State, and in their first night game at home rather than on the road, I expect them to roll and Barrett has a big night.

RB
For my first pick at running back this week I will continue to pick on the Rutgers run defense who is still giving up over 260 yards per game. Indiana’s Devine Redding($5,200) is the main back for Indiana this season having 149 attempts this season, 108 more than the next guy. Redding only has 2 scores on the year, but should’nt have a problem finding the end zone against at least once, maybe twice against the Scarlet Knights.
Rodney Smith($6,000) is my second fantasy pick at running back this week. Smith is a little on the pricier end of the salary scale, but is deserved as he is having a solid year for the Minnesota.
Smith and the Golden Gophers have a favorable matchup this week against a Purdue run defense that ranks as one of the top ten worst run defenses in the country. The Boilermakers are giving up 250 yards per game on the ground good for 8th worst in the country. Smith gets the majority of the carries for Minnesota although Shannon Brooks gets a decent amount of carries as well. Smith also has big play potential having already gone for a 70 yard score this year.

WR
JuJu Smith-Schuster($5,600) is my first fantasy pick at receiver this week, and I’m hoping he has another monster week like the last time I included him in the write up.
Smith-Schuster and the Trojans are facing a struggling Oregon program who also ranks as one of the worst passing defense in the country.
More from Scarlet and Game
The Ducks are giving up 295 passing yards per game as well as having already given up an 85 yard touchdown, showing how susceptible they are to the big play. I will likely be stacking him with QB Sam Darnold in a lineup or two.
My second pick at receiver is Jazz Peavy($4,900). Peavy and the Wisconsin Badgers are facing a Northwestern team who is playing well, but also ranks inside the top 20 worst passing defense in the country giving up an average of 274 yards per game.
I also like the added upside that comes with Peavy knowing how many sweeps the Badgers will use him in that Buckeye fans saw so much a few weeks ago.
