Charleston Southern says 14 players will be suspended for its game against No. 3 Florida State on Saturday for violating NCAA rules related to financial aid.

The school says a total of 32 players will serve one-game suspensions for using aid designated for purchasing books to buy other items. None of the players was identified by the school Friday.

Charleston Southern says 16 players already have served suspensions over the first two games of the season and two more will serve a suspension later.

The suspensions gained attention Thursday night when a few Charleston Southern players posted on social media that they had been suspended for using book money improperly.
