Bryant leads Jacksonville over San Diego 35-18

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Ulysses Bryant ran for a career-high 168 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead Jacksonville to a 35-18 victory over preseason Pioneer League favorite San Diego on Saturday.

Kade Bell added two touchdown passes for the Dolphins (1-1, 1-0), who were picked third in a preseason coaches poll.

Bell threw touchdown passes to Andrew Robustelli and Dorian Guy in completing 15 of 24 for 150 yards and an interception. But the Dolphins did most of their damage on the ground with 297 yards rushing and Bryant carrying the ball 28 times. Bryant scored his touchdowns in the second quarter, with the second coming with 1:45 remaining in the second quarter for a 21-10 halftime lead. Orlando Thomas added a 23-yard scoring run in the third quarter.

Keith Williams completed 11 of 27 passes for 137 yards and a score for the Toreros (1-1, 0-1), but was intercepted three times.
