Brown 27, Cornell 14
Mark Kachmer ran for one touchdown and led a Brown rushing attack which helped defeat Cornell 27-14 on Saturday.
The Bears (4-2, 3-0 Ivy League) ran for 157 of their 444 yards of offense, while holding the Big Red (1-5, 0-3) to 61 yards rushing.
Kachmer had 81 yards on 17 carries, while Joe Springer had two touchdowns and 287 yards on 20 of 33 passes for Brown.
Alexander Norocea kicked two field goals for the Bears, including a 45-yarder to open the scoring with 8:35 left in the first quarter.
Brown, which has won eight of the last 10 meetings against Cornell, took a 27-7 lead on Springer's 13-yard pass to Alexander Tounkara early in the fourth quarter. Tounkara caught both of Springer's touchdown passes.
Ryan Houska had two touchdowns for the Big Red, catching a 21-yard TD pass from Jeff Mathews and running for a 2-yard score.
