Braxton Miller: 'If (NFL) needs playmakers, I'm here'
Ohio State star Braxton Miller wasted no time showing NFL coaches and scouts what he can do at the Senior Bowl.
The quarterback-turned-wide receiver generated a great deal of buzz on the first day of practices in Mobile, Ala.
When it comes to athletes at North practice, it's Braxton Miller and then everyone else. He's clearly a step above #SeniorBowl

Since his days at Huber Heights Wayne High School in southwest Ohio, Miller has displayed breathtaking open-field running ability, so it came as little surprise his athleticism stood out to those able to watch practice.
Still less than a year into his new life playing "off the ball," so to speak, Miller told reporters he thought his versatility was intriguing to talent evaluators.
"I can play any position on offense," Miller said per Scout.com. "That's really eye-opening for them. They need playmakers that can do that, somebody that can go in motion, go in the backfield at times, play inside receiver, outside receiver, punt return, all that type of stuff."
Miller caught 26 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns as a senior at Ohio State. He also ran 281 yards and two touchdowns in his first season at receiver.
Previously he was the two-time Big Ten Most Valuable Player as a quarterback, but he told Sports Talk Florida he does not have any thoughts about returning to that position.
As for lessons of his time in college, he referenced what it took to come back from two shoulder surgeries that necessitated his change in positions.
"Don't take nothing for granted, man," Miller told STF. "I took a lot of stuff for granted. The game of football actually. I responded to it. I had two ligament tears, two surgeries, but it was a wake-up call. God wanted me to go in a different route."
After an up-and-down senior season, his next chance to show what he can do at the next level is coming this week.
"If they need playmakers, I'm here," Miller said.
