Sheehan was 32 of 44 passing with one interception for the Falcons, and Freddie Barnes caught 15 passes for 157 yards and both of Sheehan's touchdown passes.
The Falcons outgained the Trojans 394-293, helping new Bowling Green coach Dave Clawson notch a win in his debut.
Levi Brown was 28 of 42 passing with one touchdown and two interceptions for the Trojans, and Tebiarus Gill had eight catches for 102 yards.
Trailing 14-7 at halftime, Sheehan threw a touchdown to Barnes to tie the game with 3:49 left in the third quarter and Chris Bullock's 1-yard rush put the Falcons up 24-14 with 7:19 to play.

Adrien Spencer's 64-yard interception return sealed the game for Bowling Green with 2:14 left.
