Clemson has steadily risen in the rankings this season and looks to keep that momentum going. The Tigers are trying to open 6-0 for the third time in five seasons. Boston College has lost its last two ACC games by a combined five points.


Clemson QB Deshaun Watson vs. Boston College defense. Watson threw for his most yards this season, passing for 265 yards and two long touchdowns in a win over Georgia Tech. Boston College comes in with the nation's No. 1 overall defense. The Eagles have not allowed an opponent to score more than 14 points this season.


Boston College: LB Harold Landry. He leads the Eagles with 9 1-2 tackles for loss this season and has forced a pair of fumbles for the country's No. 1 defense.

Clemson: RB Wayne Gallman. The sophomore rusher has taken control of the Tigers running attack this season. He's had three straight games of 100-yards or more rushing and has helped Clemson close out wins over Louisville and Georgia Tech.


In 2008, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney beat Boston College for his first victory after taking over for Tommy Bowden in the middle of the season. ...
