AMES, Iowa (AP) Baylor wide receiver KD Cannon will miss Saturday's game at Iowa State with a groin injury.

Bears spokesman Sean Doerre tells The Associated Press that Cannon didn't make the trip to Ames because of the injury.

It's the first time that Cannon, a junior, has missed a game for Baylor.

Cannon has caught 27 passes for 370 yards with four TDs this season for the 13th-ranked Bears, who entered Saturday atop the Big 12 at 4-0 and 1-0 in the league.
