Bama LB Anderson, woman arrested on domestic violence charges
Alabama linebacker Ryan Anderson and a woman were arrested on domestic violence charges involving property damage.
Tuscaloosa police said in a news release on Tuesday they charged both Anderson and Sierra Nicole Patterson with third-degree domestic violence/criminal mischief. Police responded to a domestic dispute call at 11:28 p.m. on Monday after the two got into an argument in a yard. Both are 20.
Police say Patterson keyed and threw change at Anderson's vehicle and then Anderson kicked her vehicle. Both vehicles had visible damage but neither Anderson nor Patterson appeared to be injured.
Both were taken to the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $500 bond. The charge is a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.
Anderson had 25 tackles and three sacks.
