Auburn player doesn't think too much of Leonard Fournette

Johnathan "Rudy" Ford is one of Auburn's best defensive players.

He led the team in tackles a season ago, and was selected as a Preseason All-SEC selection in 2015. Ford's play on the field certainly validates his ability as an athlete.

On Tuesday, he was asked about LSU running back Leonard Fournette. The LSU super-sophomore is a leader in the early goings of Heisman Trophy race, and is undoubtedly a special talent. Fournette is built like a truck and accelerates like a Ferrari.

As relayed to Tom Green of the Opelika-Auburn News, Ford said, "It shouldn't be that difficult of a challenge [stopping Fournette]."

When asked which back Fournette reminds him of, Ford said "He reminds me of Fournette. We played him last year."

The narrative of this contest pits two talented SEC West teams against each other. Both figure to compete for a division title.

With these comments from Ford, a little spice has been added to the mix. Does anyone else want to see Fournette break into the second level of the defense, with Ford coming up trying to make the tackle?
