Arizona's Jones leaving Tucson for shot at the NFL

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) Arizona receiver Cayleb Jones announced he will skip his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

Jones made the announcement via Twitter on Sunday.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Jones was a tough matchup for opposing defenses during his two seasons in Arizona.

He caught 73 passes for 1,019 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore and had 55 catches for 904 yards and five touchdowns last season.

Jones played 10 games as a reserve receiver at Texas as a freshman before sitting out the 2013 at Arizona as a transfer.
