AP Top 25 poll: Auburn jumps to No. 3, TCU to No. 6

Auburn is the new No. 3 in the AP Top 25 poll behind Mississippi State and Florida State ahead of a weekend featuring six games matching teams in the top 20. 

Those games include No. 4 Alabama at No. 14 LSU, No. 5 Oregon at No. 20 Utah, No. 6 TCU at home vs. No. 9 Kansas State, No. 7 Michigan State at home vs. No. 13 Michigan State, No. 8 Notre Dame at No. 11 Arizona State and No. 10 Baylor at No. 19 Oklahoma.

Auburn beat Ole Miss 35-31 to leap over Alabama for the third position. The Crimson Tide did not play on Saturday.

Among the other big movers was the Horned Frogs, which moved up four spots from 10th after beating West Virginia in Morgantown.
