Alabama remains atop AP Top 25, Louisville rises to No. 3

Alabama retained its top ranking in the Associated Press poll when the Top 25 was released Sunday

On the strength of its trouncing of Florida State, Louisville jumped from No. 10 to No. 3, while the Seminoles dropped down to No. 13. Oklahoma’s big defeat at the hands of Ohio State caused the Sooners to fall from No. 14 to No. 25, while the Buckeyes moved from No. 3 to No. 2. 

Miami was the other big mover, rising from No. 25 to No. 15 after dominating Appalachian State on the road.

Alabama received 50 first-place votes, while Louisville had six, Ohio State got four and Michigan received one. 

Nebraska, San Diego State and Utah enter the Top 25 after being unranked last week.
