Texas A&M offensive line coach Jim Turner has left to take the same job at Texas Tech.
The hiring was announced Wednesday by Red Raiders coach Tommy Tuberville.
Turner spent four years on the A&M staff. The Aggies line this season surrendered a nation's-least eight sacks over 12 games and helped lead the nation's 21st-ranked rushing attack.
Turner was previously the offensive line coach at Boston College, Delaware, Temple, Harvard and Louisiana Tech. He also was an assistant coach at Northeastern.
