2016 recruit thinks DC Aranda is a 'mastermind' with his scheme
LSU hosted a massive recruiting bonanza last week -- bring in 15 prospects to the friendly confines of Baton Rouge.
Of course, trips of this nature include eating a ton of food, hanging out with players on the team, touring the campus and stadium, and essentially taking in all that LSU has to offer.
For 2016 commitment Andre Anthony, the obvious highlight was talking football with new defensive coordinator Dave Aranda.
Via an interview with The Advocate, Anthony spoke about what Aranda brings to the table.
"Mastermind. He's a great coach. He showed me how I fit into what he's trying to do and was telling me what he has planned for his defense," said Anthony.
Aranda plans on having the 6'3", 225-pound athlete as a hybrid outside linebacker/defensive end. There will be times Anthony will have his hand in the dirt, and others when he's rushing from a standing position.
