LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) Jason McManamen scored 17 points and Wyoming made their free throws late to outlast UNLV 59-57 Saturday.

UNLV's Stephen Zimmerman Jr. hit a pair from the line with 3:07 left to tie it at 51, but Wyoming made 8 of 12 free throws down the stretch - including two from Alan Herndon with two seconds left - to take it. They were Herndon's only points of the game.

McManamen went 5 of 7 on 3-point attempts as Wyoming (9-8, 2-2 Mountain West) finished 8 of 25 from beyond the arc. Josh Adams scored 12 points with five assists, while Jordan Naughton and Alexander Aka Gorski each scored 11 points.

Derrick Jones Jr. and Ike Nwamu scored 10 points apiece for UNLV (9-7, 0-3). The Rebels won the rebound battle 36-28 but committed 18 turnovers and made just 12 of 21 (57 percent) from the line.
