Djibril Thiam scored 13 points, and Wyoming pulled away from Air Force late to end its eight-game losing streak with a 58-49 victory Tuesday night.

Ryan Dermody and Desmar Jackson each had 12 points for the Cowboys (10-19, 3-12 Mountain West Conference).

Tom Fow scored 17 points and Grant Parker added 14 for the Falcons (9-19, 1-14), who are guaranteed of a last-place finish in the conference. Air Force has lost eight straight and 14 of 15.

A 3-pointer by Dermody and two free throws by Daylen Harrison put the Cowboys up by six with 4:28 remaining.

The Falcons then scored five straight points before the Cowboys closed with a 10-2 run. Wyoming hit 8-of-10 foul shots during its run.

Dermody made four 3-pointers, all in the second half, and Harrison added a career-high 11 points.
