MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) David Brown made 5 of 7 from 3-point range and scored 17 to lead Western Michigan past Central Michigan 78-64 on Friday night.
The Broncos (21-9, 14-4 Mid-American) clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the MAC tournament and at least a share of the conference regular-season title. Should Toledo lose to Eastern Michigan on Saturday, WMU will win the title outright.
