Toure Murry scored 17 points, including a pair of three-point plays during a run that put Wichita State ahead for good, as the Shockers defeated Tulsa 77-67 Wednesday night.

Wichita State (6-2) trailed 58-57 when Murry converted a three-point play with 8:19 remaining. A long-range 3-pointer by David Kyles and another traditional three-point play by Murry gave the Shockers a 66-60 lead with 4:21 left.

Garrett Stutz added 15 points for Wichita State, which shot 52 percent from the field (24 for 46), 46 percent on 3-pointers (6 for 13) and 82 percent from the free-throw line (23 for 28) en route to its fourth straight win. Joe Ragland, Carl Hall and Ben Smith had 11 points apiece, and Kyles finished with 10.

Jordan Clarkson and Scottie Haralson had 18 points each for Tulsa (4-6), which has lost four in a row. The Golden Hurricane were 10 for 19 beyond the arc but made only 13 of 23 free throws.
