SEATTLE -- Washington got a major boost for its front court by landing former Florida signee Noah Dickerson.

The Huskies announced the addition of Dickerson on Friday. Dickerson becomes the seventh freshman to sign with the Huskies for the 2015-16 season. The Huskies are also adding junior college transfer Malik Dime and Auburn transfer Matthew Atewe, who must sit out one season due to NCAA transfer rules.

Dickerson originally committed to the Gators but was granted his release after Billy Donovan left Florida to become the head coach of the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder.

Dickerson, 6-foot-8, was the 83rd ranked prospect in the country according to Scout.com. He should provide an immediate boost to Washington's front line, which was depleted by the graduation of Shawn Kemp Jr. and transfer of Jernard Jarreau.
