Jamal Crook's short bank shot with seven-tenths of a second left gave Western Kentucky a 61-59 victory against Arkansas-Little Rock on Thursday night.
Crook picked up a loose ball in the paint and hit the winning shot, which came after Arkansas-Little Rock erased a 59-53 deficit to tie the game on Solomon Bozeman's basket with 26 seconds remaining.
Steffphon Pettigrew had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Hilltoppers (13-13, 7-6 Sun Belt), who have won eight of their last 10 games. Teeng Akol added 11 points, Caden Dickerson 10 and Crook nine.
Matt Mouzy led the Trojans (14-13, 6-6) with 17 points. Bozeman and D'Andre Williams had 11 points each.
