Mike Williams scored 20 points and Western Carolina never trailed in a 74-58 win over Elon on Wednesday night, sweeping the season series.
The Catamounts (10-13, 6-5 Southern Conference), who came in having lost three of their last four games, also defeated the Phoenix 70-63 on Jan. 13.
Elon (10-13, 4-8), which has lost three in a row, shot a season-low 29.8 percent from the floor (17 of 57) while Western Carolina shot 48.3 percent (29 of 60).
Ranked fourth in the nation with 9.5 made 3-pointers a game, the Phoenix hit only 4 of 25.
Elon closed to 45-38 with 14:02 left, then the Catamounts went on a 10-0 run.
Western Carolina outrebounded Elon 47-34 and outscored the Phoenix 36-18 in the paint.
Richie Gordon had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Western Carolina.
Elon's Lucas Troutman posted career highs with 23 points, nine rebounds and four blocks.
