UTSA defeats Huston-Tillotson 92-74

SAN ANTONIO (AP) Keon Lewis scored 28 points, hitting 12 of 15 free throws, as UTSA raced past Huston-Tillotson 92-74 on Friday night.
The Roadrunners (1-0) raced to a 40-16 lead at the half, and shot 56 percent in the second half to turn back the NAIA Rams.
Jeromie Hill added 14 points and Ryan Bowie and Larry Lewis Jr. split 22 for UTSA, which dominated inside, out-scoring the Rams 52-36 in the paint.
Huston-Tillotson shot just 19 percent in the first half but heated up to shoot 54 percent after the break. Malcolm Ballard led the Rams with 19 points.
