Brady Jardine scored 15 points, including the go-ahead basket with 1:05 to play, and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead Utah State past Northeastern 56-54 Saturday night.
Tai Wesley added 14 points and Brockeith Paine had 13 for the Aggies (4-1), who didn't lead in the second half until Wesley made a pair of free throws with 3:10 left for a 49-48 advantage.
Chaisson Allen, who led the Huskies (2-2) with 18 points, made a free throw and Joel Smith made the last of his five 3-pointers to put Northeastern back in front 52-49. But a Wesley dunk and Jardine's layup helped put the Aggies in charge.
Smith had 15 points for the Huskies. The game was tied 26-26 at the half.
Jardine also had a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds in Utah State's victory over Utah on Wednesday.
