UNLV 74, Wyoming 65
Chace Stanback, Oscar Bellfield and Tre'von Willis each scored 17 points to lead UNLV to a 74-65 victory over Wyoming on Tuesday night.
The Rebels (16-5, 4-3 Mountain West) trailed 31-23 at the half after shooting 31 percent. But they sank their first four shots of the second half, including two jumpers by Stanback, and took the lead for good at 44-42 on a 3-pointer by Willis with 13:16 remaining.
Willis added a 3-pointer with 7:59 left to stretch the margin to 57-48. His steal and feed to Anthony Marshall for a dunk made it 67-53 with 4:10 to go, and the Cowboys got no closer than nine the rest of the way.
Desmar Jackson led Wyoming with 17, while Francisco Cruz and Amath M'Baye added 13 apiece. The Cowboys (8-12, 1-5) lost their fourth straight.
